When did the heavy rain hit the north? Heavy rain hit the north of the country on Tuesday. Rivers rose quickly and two villages were cut off for several hours. Nobody was hurt, but many roads are still closed. The weather service says the rain will stop on Thursday, and the weekend will be sunny and warm, with temperatures up to 25 degrees.
